Not a bad deal, several good games in the pack, especially if you were thinking of getting Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3

Quake IV
Released: Aug 3, 2011

Quake 4 on Steam finally! I wonder if they've automatically given this to people who have bought the Quake pack in the past? If they haven't, they should.

Argh, those thieving SOBs. I knew buying their outdated Id Super Crappy Pack during the summer sales was gonna come back to bite me in the arse sometime, didn't know it would be almost a month after I bought the freaking thing. And people including myself have been asking for Quake 4/Enemy Territory for years, didn't know it would come now, and if I did, I would've waited.

Damn you id, I officially hate you now. Many thanks for shafting your own customers.

They haven't, and I doubt they ever will, judging by their "buy it now and get the useless gizmo for TF2" promotion.

Pretty epic deal, i'm only interested in the Fallouts though, own the TES games already, otherwise this would have been very tempting.
^ You should probably wait until the last day for Fallout and TES if it is not a deal of the day. It might go on sale.

£49.99 in the UK

I'm very tempted as the only one I already own is Oblivion but someone is borrowing that...
Might wait until the last day though.

I'm tempted as well. I've played most of the old stuff (pre 2k) but not oblivion or the bethesda fallouts. I was hopping that daggerfall (and the other 2 elderscroll based adventure/action games whose names I can't recall at the moment) would be included in the pack but that's nowhere to be seen...

So this pack will be on sale for the whole weekend correct? I rather wait and let it stew a bit before I decide either way. I know I want the games but I got such a huge backlog that I really can't justify the expense but that won't stop me once I decide.

Do you mean the older Elderscroll games? Lets see Arena was on of them, maybe there first game, and they also had another one like Watchtower or something? you played a Redguard. Both of those are free to download on the elderscrolls website (pretty sure, I know Arena is, and Daggerfall is pretty sure). The Redguard one might still have to buy, not sure.
