Rate my build, good sir.

Thread Starter
I've never owned a [decent] computer (see my sig) SO i've decided to build one!
My budget is around 800$, so if you think my build could be improved in some weird or acrobatic way, please suggest stuff! (since you're the nolifers i mean smarts.

ANYWAYS HERES MA BUILD! (i'm buying this from a norwegian website, if you suggest some things, perhaps i wont find them on the website, so yeah)

MOBO: MSI 770-C45, Socket-AM3
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=477897

PSU: Silver Power SP-SS500 500W PSU
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=376060

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 560 Black Edition (theres not a cheaper cpu in that website, and im not buying from another cuz' theres no way to find a 555 be in norway sites, im also not buying from amazon cuz my parents UNFORTUNATELY wont allow it
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=605496

GPU: Gainward GeForce GT 430 1GB PhysX CUDA
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=612854

RAM: Crucial DDR3 1333MHz 4GB KIT (CL9)
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=363359

HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=491821

CASE: In-Win BUC Midi Tower
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=634594

CPU 'KUHLER': Hyper 212+
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=494649

I'm planning on doing some overclocking and unlocking, trying to get the BE CPU to 3.8-4.0ghz and unlocking to 3 or 4 cores (if successful)
I'm probably going to buy this during this month (yes, August)
so any suggestions/improvents is highly appreciated (and noticed)
even if my budget is max 800$, it would REALLY help me if it was 700-750$.
another thing im wondering, if im going to need the hyper 212+ for 3.8-4.0 ghz overclocking, although im probably going to leave it at around 3.6ghz.
i was hoping to save money and go with the stock cooler (i don't mind my temperature at 60C)
about the gpu, im planning to game games like bfbc2, css, mw2, u know the deal.. at well low settings as long as it will get like 50-70fps?? is that a dream with the gpu i have? also does the PSU have enough watts?? (im not really planning on SLI or Crossfire, in the future i dont mind swapping the psu and gpu...

thanks

you all have 30 seconds to answer my thread question or im calling the cops.
(relax im just pulling your d***)

EDIT: I HAVE 1440x920 resolution i think.

If I may say so, and I mean this is the kindest way. Good luck overclocking with that RAM. I find it quite hard to help because I dont know the exhanchge rates between what your website uses and what I know but I think you should work on improving the RAM and GPU, a 430 is not that powerful.

Maybe get a cheaper case and better gear, god knows you dont need that case with that gear.

7.5/10? But for that price, who can complain? Change the mobo definitely, from the pic I saw in that link, it has 3 PCI slots??? there's no need for 3 PCI slots, get an M-ATX board, invest the money in a better GPU, as with the build you have now, it might struggle at BFBC2, not sure about low settings, but its a pretty demanding game.

I am not too sure about ram, but I am quite sure you can get Gskill RAM/Kingston RAM for cheaper. Again spend the money on a better GPU. For your build, get the CoolerMaster Elite 310, looks like it is cheaper on that site, even though I am not sure about your currency rate. No need to get a case with so many fans for a budget build. Spend the money on a better GPU. Everything else looks fine, good call with the CPU, you can cheap out on it now, and get a BD when it comes out. Hope this helped.

Hmm, I switched the mobo with Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H, Socket-AM3

and

http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=593680

i also switched the ram with Corsair Vengeance™ DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL9

http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=626265

the gpu has been switched with asus geforce gts 450 (direct CU SILENT)

http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=638174

if i read right it plays bfbc2 maxed with 40+ fps (SWEET)

the case is Fractal Design Core 1000 Mini Tower
its quiet and affordable
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=635712#extra

i've left out my hdd, i found 2x 250gb hdds, 7200rpm 8m pata, (samsung sp2514n)s
lucky me

is it good now? is the 500w enough for the gpu? i dont think so :/

can i leave out the hyper 212? or is it necessary for my overclocking urges?

EDIT: the currency rate, well lets say each product is 10-15$ more than in amazon
also, if i could've bought it from amazon it would've been 500$ instead of 800$ :'( clueless parents

500W is more than enough for that GPU. Good choice with the fractal case. Good call wth the mobo, Corsair Vengeance is fine, GTS 450 for that res is fine (would have prefered GTX 460, but it is fine tbh). Looks like your budget increased though

Updated score: 8.5/10

But actually here's my suggestion, hold off on building this pc for now. If you have been using the current PC for a long time, resist the temptation abit more, save up more money for now, until you get a more "futureproof" build, with BF3 and Skyrim coming out, which I am sure you will be keen to try out since you like BFBC2, MW2 (first person shooters), you might need better components though. But it's just my recommendation tbh Try and get a better GPU used as well (GTX 460 used shouldnt be too expensive nowadays, even with warranty left).

PLEASE! Do not get a PATA drive. Get something like a Barracuda 7200.12 or a Caviar Blue cause the PATA drives are extremly slow... Please The other things are pretty good. Actually, the 500W is overkill and you would be ok with a good 400W. Considering your budget + motherboard, the vengeance RAM is useless, cause you have a low budget and it's expensive + your motherboard won't allow you to overclock it a lot since the point of that RAM is overclocking it. Get either some ripjaws from G.Skill (not the X one) or some mushkin silverline stiletto. Both good RAM and much cheaper.

thanks guys, actually my cpu fried on my older pc, i tried it without cooler lol, fried in 5 seconds
but in a few months im going to start working (ah the joy of being 13) and then im going to get like 150$ a month, so i wont really need a futureproof pc now
ima upgrade down the road, thanks for all suggestions, i think im going to stick with this build (ofcourse im going to upgrade the hdd like Snowmen said )
also, the ram is not a really big deal, and in norway the currency rate is f***ed up so the g-skill is 20-40% moer expensive than the corsair :/

Thanks all

EDIT: not that i wouldn't spend more on this current pc, but considering my current budget and my income salary next few months, i should be fine for now
