Water Cooled CPU + Av Cabinet - Page 2

Just the other day I move my rig into my disk...

I orginally was going to just put some risers in to hold the mother board, but then I decided I didn't like my graphics card wobbling around. So right now I am using a motherboard tray from a old case to hold everything.

How do you "computer desk" folks handle this? Do you just let the GPUs wobble arround?

I believe a lot of people actually mount their motherboards horizontally and use a full motherboard tray that includes the back PCI slots to secure the GPUs.

Which right are you talking about for the rig? When looking straight at it I would say put the rig on a horizontal tech bench on the left side (big open spot). Depending on how much radiator you are planning on using you can either mount the radiator on the back or the side panel.

I would also check out this build log I linked earlier if you haven't already. I honestly have never seen anyone do a custom cabinet like this. The finish and everything just looks incredible.

That's what I did with it...just looks sort of geto

I need to tear it apart and actually paint things...I litterally put it toghter in about two hours last night and it is still leak testing now.

The far right side may look small but its actually about 10 1/2" wide and 36" deep. So there should be more than enough room. I was going off one of the bigger Corsair cases saying it was 9" wide.

I did look at that post. Very nicely done. Little more old school i guess you would say than I'm looking for. i Want everything to be very sleek an closed off.
