Friends PC shuts off, no BSOD - Page 3

This I would do, but also unplug them & have a close look at the ends.
I was have a random power off on one of my rigs & the 8 pin 12v was burnt
inside the socket losing contact every now & then, gave me fits till I pulled it & found the problem.
I was extremely overclock tho, pulling lost of power off that connection.
So unplug check ends & plug back in. See if it still happens.

Actually there are other things it could be, like a back door Trojan.
So wouldn't hurt to do a virus check.
