Hey, I recently got a second gtx480 to sli with my current one. Problem is the mobo won't recognize the second gtx480 because its in the bottom most slot while the other is in the top most pci-e slot. When I boot into windows it says I only have one gtx480. When I sandwich the cards in the top two slots, my mobo recognizes the two gtx480's and I can enable sli. I want them spaced out because the top card gets very hot when sandwiched and I want it to get more air. Does this mean my mobo has a dead pci-e slot?
