It doesn't matter they can throw blows all they want but guess what? Call of duty is still making alot of money every year. Am I a COD fan boy? Yes , Am I a BF fan boy? yes as well so dont think my statement is biased.

My thoughts exactly. I will get very little satisfaction out of a game that has me making additional purchases frequently.

Not to mention, everything from COD4 to Black Ops has felt almost exactly the same. The only difference in gameplay was the exclusion of lean in MW2. It came back in Black Ops but other than that, it's just been new skins, new models, and different maps and more over-the-top storylines.

All the main Battlefield releases have had markedly different feels and gameplay from the previous releases.

Even BF3 and BC2, which many accuse of being the same thing, for me, have played completely differently. BC2 is a bit of more casual play but that's for a different thread.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying a little extra now and then for downloadable content, if the quality is on par with what they did with the Battlefield 2 booster packs and expansions.

Not every COD game is developed by Infinity Ward either.

Pointless argument. Both franchise milk it as much as they can. Neither party is any less guilty than the other. Stupid trolls (and fanboys for that matter).

I'm glad they realized that it's probably better to allow a game to grow, instead of throwing constant "new" versions in your face. Look at Counter Strike: Source. It came out 7 years ago and still has a HUGE player base because it was able to mature. Hell, some of the bugs in that game are just considered "features" now lol.

Although why do I still feel like we'll be hearing about a BC3 or something in the near future?
