I think it's hilarious actually cause it continues to prove how piss poor OCZ's quality and customer service is, despite what those idiots at the OCZ forum have been saying.

I went through almost 2 months of hell with that drive. I paid premium for it and it barely worked. The absolute worst part of the experience was not because the drive kept messing up, but because OCZ, it's staff and it's retarded beta testers kept denying that there was a problem in the first place and made it sound like the problem was made or in our heads! Oh...it's just a bad sata cable, buy a new one, you don't know how to properly set up Windows, don't overclock, etc etc...and they gave us what came to be known as the Boeing 747 checklist which including 50000000 steps to take to "properly" setup and install Windows, which didn't work for 99.9% of users anyway.

The entire time they kept their heads in the sand, gave us a condesending attitude, and kept us in the dark about what to do. It was a spit in the face and an insult to be their customer. Yes, I own a Vertex 3 but I will NEVER EVER buy from OCZ again.

Having been through all the same crap with OCZ that you have, I have to agree with your opinion 110%.

It would be one thing if they took responsibility from the start but they've done nothing of the sort. They blame everything on something other than their drive.
