so am gonna get the same results with water cooling also ? Great
Why the obsession with idle temps? Water cooling doesn't lower your idle temps by all that much, the difference lies in the load temps. Don't worry so much about the idle temps, it is in no way an indicator of cooling performance.

With my 950 at 4.2ghz@1.28v my load temps are around 66c or 67c, which even a NH-D14 can't do with fans much faster than mine. There is most certainly a gain when switching to water, just don't worry so much about idle temps. If it makes you feel any better my CPU idles at 37c with 22c ambient.

Yep, HT is on and it's rock solid stable 24+hrs on prime95.

edit: Well its closer to 1.29v after load line calibration, but it's set to 1.28v in BIOS.

my i7 920 at 4.2 1.4v reads idle(this window and itunes running)

room ambient 21*c

using evga E-LEET, load is under folding on everything

...............IDLE.........LOAD
cpu..........26*c........49*c
core 1......43*c.........62*c
core 2......40*c..........60*c
core 3......43*c..........61*c
core 4......36*c..........55*c

NB............33*c..........35*c
VREG........42*c..........51*c

580...........34*c..........71*c
580............31*c..........45*c
9800gtx+....32 *c..........39*c

my loop goes

pump> i7 920 > ek evga 3x sli blocks > black ice 240 rad > 9800gtx > GTX 580 > GTX 580 > xspc 360 rad > res > pump

my fans are cm excaliburs in push pull, they have a very high static presure and high fan speed so they push a ton of air.

this is my experience, yours will differ, but dont have to high of hopes with that high of an ambient, how do you sleep at night with it that high lol

I usually hover at around 12c delta when idling, both on my previous D14 and this RS360 kit. Load is when watercooling starts to shine, my old D14 wouldn't be able to sustain a 4.5ghz overclock without hitting the 85s area, where the RS360 can easily keep it at around 70c alongside my motherboard mosfets (which is hotter than the processor itself).

Edit: I should also mention that my fans are only running at 600 rpm so its tremendously quieter than the D14
