Mum looking to buy a new mac

Hi all sorry if this is the wrong place. My mum is looking to upgrade her old mac book and am wondering what you guys would recommend? Laptop or desktop doesn't really matter.

Does she want to stay with OS X? If so, just buy her a Macbook Air or Macbook Pro.

Yes.

DONT GET HER A MACBOOK AIR. Unless she really needs it They are honestly a waste of money for a machine that could brake if you drop it. Not worth the millimeters it is.

I would suggest the MacBook Pro 13. Its the cheapest they have and still very fast and sleek

Maybe look into the 27" iMacs. Those 2560x1440 screens make it almost worth it considering they cost $1000 new alone. Then you get a whole computer for 5 or 6 hundred bucks
