9600GT as Dedicated PhysX card?

Thread Starter
I have an old 9600GT 1Gb in a computer I don't use any more, and am wondering if I would see any benefit in coupling it with a 2GB 6950? Is it capable of running PhysX well or should I even bother?

having physX is better than not having it and the 9600GT will allow you to have it with an ATI card......the trouble is that your 6950 will render thing way faster than the 9600 is capable of doing, so it will linger at the 9600s pace, which in turn will drop overall gaming performance......you'll need a GTS450 minimum with a 6950
