Raised Timings When in Windows

Thread Starter
Anyone know why timings of 7, 7, 7, 20 set in BIOS would be raised to 7, 8, 7, 20 (as reported by CPU-Z) when in Windows?

So you've set 7-7-7-20 manually in the bios, and cpuz shows 7-8-7-20?

Are you using CPUZ version 1.58???

Yes to all of your questions. BIOS also shows 7, 7, 7, 20 in the M.I.T. Current Status section.

Are you using Windows 7?
If so, go to your control panel, then to your Power Options, and choose Performance, and see if that changes anything in CPUZ

Oh. I see what's going on now: you're trying to use timings that are 2ms tighter than stock. That's hefty.

Is your memory clock still 1600MHz?
