I doubt it was a lemon. The only way to prove it was or wasn't is to Get CMcarter to send me another one which won't happen and I sure as hell wont buy another one after their restocking fee.

I'm surprised the G9 or G9x didn't come up for claw grip

This is how I felt, too. Mine didn't have any jitter or abnormal tracking of any kind once I flashed the mouse. Usually a firmware problem won't only manifest itself as a lower perfect control speed than the sensor is capable of. Other than hitting that threshold very easily, the tracking and lod of the spawn was superb. I'm happy to wait, see what happens with both it and the valor, and see if improvements are made, but I'm heavily doubting the 3090 can keep up with my movements at this point.

Ultimately, it's a crapshoot unless you try before you buy. What will be comfortable for you most likely will be different for someone else. Maybe give a G9x a shot.

It definately was a lemon same as with the abyssus you got(mine has no jitter) I would record a video where you could see both the screen and me moving my mouse if i could.

The only issue you had that I been able to reproduce is the very slightly jitter that wont have any effect in games

I'm starting to see myself as a finger grip user and I have the G500... But am thinking about getting the Razer Lachesis as its geared towards finger grip users

Thread Starter
I've narrowed my choices down to the Deathadder or Xai with SS 4HD [I would have the Xai right now but they ran out stock] '
Any other input or suggestions?

I've used/owned the majority of the Logitech mice and I have sent them all back.
I'm a bit hesitant on the DA for the fact being that I've had bad experiences with Razer and their typical lack of build quality.

I was in this boat until I got my black edition DA. This thing feels incredibly solid for a razer product. Definitely not Xai quality, but I have a hard time envisioning this thing breaking prematurely.

Derp, quick question for you, since I think you got one of the newer Spawns, and supposedly they now have rounded edged mousefeet. How thick are the mousefeet? On the earlier Spawn, like I have, the mousefeet had sharp squared off edges, and stand just a few 1/10ths of a millimeter taller than the mousefeet contoured "sockets" on the bottom of the mouse. Just curious if the newer mousefeet are maybe thicker than the old ones, since the mousefeet are something that we know was changed old vs. new. Just saying, thicker feet could change the focus of the sensor on the surface and maybe adversely affect tracking. Still trying to find a logical reason, why you're not getting the same results as me and a few other satisfied users, who mostly seem to have the earlier version. You're not the only one reporting tracking issues now, so it's probably not just a fluke or a single flaky mouse, something must have changed in CM's production, and the mousefeet just came to mind.

I'm traveling ATM, and don't have access to my Spawn, to actually measure my mousefeet with calipers, just stating from memory, how thick they appeared. Having to use a crappy Dell mouse with my Dell laptop from work now, (bleh!!!), thank God I don't have to game with it, it's barely up to office tasks. I'll check my Spawn's mousefeet, when I get back home later this week from my trip.
