MC- Corsair DDR3 1333 $13 AR?

Thread Starter
Just got an email from MC saying they have this set of ram for 12.99 AR.

link
4GB DDR3-1333 (PC3-10666) CL9 Desktop Memory Module
$12.99
Price after instant savings and $10 and $15 mfr. mail-in rebates / REG. $49.99; 897579

their site hasn't updated so not sure how much of a deal this would be with shipping or might just be BM.

They also got 50 off any motherboard compatible with Phenom II and Hitachi SATA 6GBs 1.5TB for $50.

You should link to the actual set...

Otherwise all we know is that it's a 4gb stick.

2 rebates, $10 and $15 (one needs the orig upc, the other needs a copy of it)
not a bad deal for cheap ram if you dont mind rebates

Limit one rebate card per product line per household.
For most it may not really worth it, since you can only get one DIMM and not a dual channel set (which can be obtained, and as DDR3-1600, for much lower price, bar rebate)

lol did the OP really give us a link to his cart?

not worth it really. u have to send out 2 rebates and those specs arent really good even for a budget build.

is not that bad for people that don't mind rebates, but I know there are so many better deals out there. But I have bought so many Corsair products lately and gotten their rebates so fast that if I lived closer to a MC I would have grabbed it.

I'll put my 2c in.

I actually think this is a worthwhile deal for anyone that just needs 4gb now and wants expandability later. You can have a single 4gb stick (with almost no performance loss vs dual channel) and plop another in a year down the road when prices are this low without rebates (hopefully).

If you want 8gb though, it's totally not worth it. And not if you're rebate-wary either.
