Considering doing a similar mod to you with the 240 in the front drive bays at the moment smile.gif

Its a pretty sweet place to put a rad or 2 especially if you don't need the bays for anything else. I love the look of it too.

I thought about putting a couple of my logs on OCAU but really couldn't be bothered. Are you active on OCAU?

And I think most of the aussies here have an account on OCAU as well... the marketplace there is brilliant for us, that is the only reason I have an account tbh.

I was lurking around the HAF club for a month or so before I finally joined. I joined OCAU for the market place too. I'm not sure I've even posted in those forums yet.

Aprils about to be completely torn down again so I can do some light modding, reposition some of the tubes and of couse I want to add the 580s to the second loop. I'll be getting started on that as soon as this builds finished.

Yet more sleeving...

P9060044.jpg

The short cable kit is cool enough to provide 2 options of sata power!

Alongside the molex.

Cable management.

I used the SSD bracket to hide the fan connections and to make the mess look slightly less of a mess.

Now all I need to do is get a couple short sata cables (ordered) and paint the fan and PCIe brackets (tomorrow).

Also I forgot to mention earlier in the log about my fan choice.

I got these fans in particullar as they were quite and they already had the LED holes in the shroud. I've since decided not to add the LEDs mainly becuase I couldn't be ****ed. I'm still really happy with the fans though as even with all 4 at full speed, you can't hear them. They don't push much air though which was a worry at first what with the H50 rad and all, but in push/pull they still keep my CPU cool so thumb.gif to thermalright.

If you have a problem with it get modding!

I wish I could do something like this (the cable management) as my FT03 is a mess on side behind the mobo. I have a bunch of wires back there and my 24pin cable is long so it takes up a bunch of space back there.

It's a major PITA to close that side panel tongue.gif

Thanks for all the comments guys. To be honest, I reckon if I really tried, I could still get better cable management than this. I'm not going to though cause this machine tripples as my test bench. I know I'll eventually need to pull some cables through more and what not so if they were all fastened in position, that would be annoying! I'm happy enough anyway.

Also sintricate, its a major PITA to close my side panel too!
