Help with random Computer Freezing

Thread Starter
So i bought a used computer on CL around a month ago. Everything working fine temp wise or so i think (i attached a pic of my CPUID HW) But recently i experienced some computer freeze. The first time it happend is about 2 weeks ago and i had to do a restart since it just completely froze. And just now it happend again so i am just wondering what is the cause of this. The ram and PSU is a pretty bad brand and i am running an i7 2600 and 6970

Just wondering; is speedstep enabled?
I noticed that the CPU voltage was showing as 0.97v.
Also, has he slightly overclocked it? Because the majority of SB CPUs I've seen tend to be under 1.23v max at stock speeds.

as far as i know, everything is stock. I reset bios to defaul setting and i have no OC program enable. Does it have anything to do with the freezing? Also, i notice that both time my pc froze, i was watching youtube or have youtube in the background

It could be that the person you bought the PC off was trying to sell the GFX card as a 6970 when infact it is a 6950 that has been flashed. Could be a dodgy card.
