Looking for a Sapphire 6990

I cant seem to find these anywhere? Whats up with newegg do they not carry them anymore? can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

I cant even find one used. I'm really picky and want it to be the Sapphire brand.

You can get 6990's at Provantage but you have to wait a couple weeks and they do not carry Sapphire branded cards. Newegg has been out of stock for months on 6990's so this is your best best.

Hell I would take one used, I cant find one on ebay either. I really want Sapphire.

I would go for 3 x 6970 since 6xxx series scale so well.
It'll be the same as 6990+6970.

From what I understand, 3x 6970 > 6990 + 6970, since the GPUs on the 6990 run slightly slower than a regular 6970, and the other 6970 would be limited to that speed, instead of its own stock speed. This, plus 6990's being so hard to find, is why I decided to go for 3x 6970 (3rd card as soon as I have the coin).

I'm sure you could overclock the 6990 to compensate though
