No its not a driver issue, I can max usage in single and empty servers because theres no explosions, gunshot sounds ETC for the CPU to render. I guess I'll just go back to 4.2Ghz w/HT and still be bottlenecked a bit, but not as much. Unless there is a solution for this, because my board has a TDP wall so if I hit 100% load @ 4.2+Ghz it autoshutdowns for safety, too bad the Sabertooth X58 has the x16 PCI-E's so close to eatchother... They we're on sale for 99$ :/

Oh and no one has explained why svchost.exe takes 25% of my CPU, aka 100% load on one core.

I haven't had an AMD driver specific issue in the last 12 months, on any of the 4 radeon systems I own and/or built for family member.

The scant handful of crossfire issues were remedied within days or weeks via the CAP system. They've been averaging 3 or so per month.

I see you don't own an AMD gpu. Ignorance spoken with authority doesn't provide anything remotely resembling remotely useful. And spelling "AMD" as "Amds" is a bad idea.. I went looking back through posts thinking you were talking to or about someone named Amds.

OP, there's something way off here. Strange behavior indeed. Do a total clean sweep (i'd suggest using the Von's Mod method of wiping out driver keys). Be sure, by the way, to also uninstall all the CAPs thus remaining in your programs list. Then do driver-sweeper whilst in Safe Mode, & re-install the 11.8. Good luck bro.

Any chance of hosting a virus ?
Svchost.exe @ 25% CPU usage is not normal

svchost.exe is the generic process wrapper that runs all .dll files. You have to look at .dll that it is running.

Open up Resource Monitor and go the CPU tab. Sort by "CPU" usage and check the offending svchost.exe. Then look at the detailed thread information and see which .dll is causing the problem.

BC2 does not require all of a 4.4GHz i7.
Once again...

I checked with Avast, 2 files infected but its still using 23-28% of all cores power, so its equal to me running Tri-Core @ 4.5Ghz... Are you running HT ON when you get the usages on your tri-fire?

I'd just like to contribute to the thread by saying that the higher the resolution, the higher the gpu dependence as opposed to the lower resolution the higher the cpu usage.

I just ran BC2 to check what my CPU usage was on my sig rig, And its no where near yours. Have you tried reinstalling the game and seeing what that does?
