Newegg has this set for sale right now for 330 dollars. Would you suggest purchasing for my computer Im saving for. They would be used for gaming, movies, and music. Any help appreciated!

They don't interest me, but I'm sure they're okay enough. You will also need to buy a receiver unless you already have one.

Can you elaborate a little on why they don't interest you? Also I do not have a receiver, and quite honestly don't know what it is or used for.

They don't interest me because they're uninteresting to me.

If I was looking for a small surround set on a low budget they might interest me then.

And you need a receiver to provide power and volume control for the speakers mostly.

HDMI or optical from the computer or whatever other source to the receiver. Speaker cable from the receiver to the speakers, and an rca from the subwoofer preout to the LFE input on the sub.

I only asked so I could make an educated purchasing decision. Thanks for the input that you've provided. I did a forum search (was unable to before I posted the thread for whatever reason) and found some posts about this set. I'll probably just let the deal go, and revisit my audio needs at a later point, especially because my clutch cable snapped on my drive home from work just now lol.

Ouch. I wasn't trying to be an ass, I was just saying I wasn't in the market for a set like that. Good luck with your car stuff and your future audio endeavors
