btw, i've only been talking about sequental write, not 4k seq write, which is obv slower... 85 according to anvil, 52 according to as ssd..

You are aware that AS SSD performs the test using incompressible data.
If you select incompressible data in Anvil's benchmark you'll get comparable results.

Incompressible data is not very likely in real life so you can get result for other compression ratios by selecting different ratios in settings.

60MiB/s sounds about right for incompressible data the same goes for 240ish using compressible data.

i've not benchmarked a whole lot of harddrives in my time.
