SR-1 560 Fan Orientation

Thread Starter
Hey all, my current cooling system contains a Black Ice SR-1 560 with 4x yate loon D14SM-12 fans in pull. Now, the SR-1 is set up differently on each side. On one side, there is a shroud built in, and the other side has nothing. With the way that my case is, I can either run the fans in pull (on the side without the shroud, which I currently have), or in push (on the side with the shroud). Anyone know which position would be best?

Thanks
Adalia

pull. I've misplaced the links but it was shown that pull beat push and of course push/pull was best.

all tho pull is better, OP's rad have "shroud" on one side of the rad there for limited to how he will run the fans ..push or pull ..i wouldn't care as long as you provide plenty of fresh/cold air

which is quite a valid point, because the main limiting factor in water cooling through a rad is ambient temp. If the air is hot, so will you components.
