How do I disable the overclock feature? - Page 3

Yeah, I reapplied the grease. I will check the push pins again and try the blue screen and del thing. Thank you all so much for your help! I would rather not take this in to be fixed. I'm ready to chuck the pc out the window or bang my head against the wall, not sure which would be more productive. Oh and the highest temp was 188F

I will check the tpu switch, and it shows a higher c than 70c, well I don't let it get that high anymore before I shut it down but I think 160f was 70c? Before this happened I think it ran around 150f

you are safe with that chip up to 90c. 188f is 86c.

the tpu switch is all the way to the right, is that on or off? It doesn't say on the board and I have no idea.

Are you sure
And you do have the CPU fan plugged in??

For a temporary solution!
One thing you could do is download Realtemp, and disable turbo with it!
You would need to do this, each time you start Windows!

But my money's still on you, not fitting the cooler properly

Realtemp 3.67 now attached
