What temps to expect from this setup ?

Air Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Intel i7 950 overclocked to 3.8GHz with a CPU Voltage of 1.25 room temp 20
getting Idle: 46c to 48c
100% load with prime95: 72c to 75c

Noctua D14 is meant to be the "Best" air cooler around But I want to no how effective will water cooling be with the same setup as above how much will temps drop on idle and load ? This will be using a 360 radiator in push/pull configuration

On load expect at least a 10C drop in temps. You'll be able to crank that 950 to 4.4+ Ghz no problem at similar temps to your current setup.

you can easily get idle in the low 30's high 20's (depending on exact cooling system + ambient temp) and probably hit low high 50's / 60's. This is just an educated guess depending on overlcock and everything like that, but that is where you should be at.

Sorry kinda stupid question what would you call a really high ambient temp and a very good one kinda low

well lets just say the coolest you can pretty much get idle is about 3C above ambient (with a standard system with really good rad space). So 22 -25C is what I consider pretty standard.
