Thread Starter
Hey!

Ive tryed to read alot about WCing latly, but I always seems to get confused...
Could anyone give me a setup for CPU (i5 2500k) and GPU (EVGA gtx580 Hydrocopper)?
Price around 500 bucks max.

Id like to have a Res/pump kit, a easy mount CPU Block like Koolance CPU-370(?) and Compression fittings ( bcuz of the looks)

Thank you

Simplest WC kit is a XSPC RASA RS/RX240 or RS/RX360 kit and add compression fittings with PrimoFlex tubing

This is exactly what you need (I'd personally go with the 360 if you can fit it) and also look into a waterblock for you GPU. If it is a reference block get a full cover block from swiftech, or dangerDen or EK (don't get nickel of course), otherwise get a universal like a swiftech MCW-82 and heatsink(s) for the ram/mosfets.

I dont need waterblock for GPU duo its a evga hydrocopper (preinstalled swiftech wc block)

How is the pump in the Rasa kit? And hows the CPU block compared to more expensive CPU blocks?

XSPC cpu block is almost as good as the high end cpu blocks. I wouldn't waste any money buying the Koolance 370.

Sorry, I missed that. the RASA block is good, very respectable. More money, will get you better parts, but you're looking at only a few extra C in drop. Here is a massive test

oh for sure. The only reason you'd want another pump is if you added two more GPUs a couple more rads, a waterblock on the MOBO... then I would consider getting something with a bit more headroom... but with this setup you'll be fine.

XSPC RX360 will do the job for you.
You will want to get new tubing, as the stock tubing sucks. I would highly recommend Primochill tubing. 7/16"ID tubing over the 1/2" barbs that come with the kit for a tight fit. I would get new fans also. How much would you like to spend on fans? That should be fine for your loop.
