I just recently acquired a dell xps m1530 from a friend for free because of the problems it had, I was able to fix everything except for one. After I flashed the BIOS to a12 from a09, my battery won't charge even though it says it is plugged in. The charge is stuck at 10% so I can't flash it back to the old BIOS which I believe is the root of the problem. I assume this is the problem because I did some research and found many other people had this problem. Some were able to fix it through the device manager by uninstalling and reinstalling one of the battery options. This did not work for me, at which point I found another thread saying that it could be an unknown ac adapter problem. I went into the BIOS to find out for my self, and sure enough that was the problem. So what now? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
