The reference thread here at OCN says Roccat Pyra has the same PixArt sensor. I just got mine today and tried this "test" (moving up and down fast in MS Paint, am I doing it right?). So, it wouldn't seem that Roccat Pyra has this problem, despite the same sensor thumb.gif

I can confirm that I have not experienced the jump bug in the month or so that I have owned my Roccat Pyra, despite extensive testing to try to reproduce the bug.

Edit: Derp (or anyone) can you confirm that the bug still exists or has been fixed? I was somewhat unclear on that.

All you need is to pull upward on the top of the mouse shell, apply a little pressure and then pull backwards. The top shell connects to the bottom from the front, but all you need to do is make sure the one bottom screw is loose.

I just bought a Mico blue hoping that the sensor issue described in OP wouldnt be present. Sadly it was present, i will have to return it.

I felt it ingame, then i tabbed out to test in paint and it was just like the pics provided in OP.

By the way, are all micos affected by the jump error described in OP or can one get lucky and get one where the jump error never will happen?

Since its been so long you should probably contact Zowie about that and hope they're honest with you.

Ye i think i will send them an email.

I noticed that it said "for females" on the package for the mico blue, for some reason i thought the pink were for females and blue for anyone =P Perhaps they are tryng to get rid of all these micos by selling them to females who probably wont even notice if the jump error happens once every 10 minutes (i think the typical women gamer isnt as obsessed with her gear as for example i am).
