I'm trying to install Ubuntu onto my laptop, and whenever I put the flashdrive with the distro on it (made with Uni USB Creator and tested in VirtualBox), I can't boot. If I start the laptop with the drive in, it goes to the "Press ESC for startup options" page, and freezes. I made sure that in the BIOS, the USB drive is first boot priority, and even if I plug it in after the startup screen is gone, it will freeze there. This has happened with multiple USB sticks, and multiple distributions. Can anyone help me with this?
