If that was at stock speeds then you're going to need a better cooler than a Zalman 9700. That's quite an old cooler and there are much better options available now. For instance, with my Silver Arrow I get max temps of 62C on the warmest core when running Prime95 @4.5ghz.

That seems like an awefully high vcore for 4.5ghz. I'm running a vcore of 1.32 for 4.5ghz w/HT on.

Air cooling is plenty for that. There are guys on OCN @ 5ghz on air. My max temps at 4.5ghz are 62c on the hottest core, which is well below the thermal limit of these chips.

I'm sorry, I was looking at the wrong results. Max temps on prime95 was 56C

Working with this particular BIOS on this mobo has been rather interesting. I should read up if there's a way to get the old interface of my P6X58D mobo.
