Which RAM to get?

Thread Starter
Hello!

I'm looking for RAM for a new build I'm doing.

I was looking at the G.Skill Ripjaws, but then saw that there were quite a few other options around that price point. Here's what I'm looking for:

1. DDR3-1600
2. 8GB (2 x 4GB)
3. Preferably black/blue, but anything will do (I'm a poet and I don't know it? )

I saw there was the X series, the Sniper series, plus some other Corsair stuff that looked decent.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Yeah. I was mainly asking because I can't tell the difference between the series. If there is none, I would go with the Sniper for the color.

This set and its rock solid over clocks great and runs cool and stable on Sandy Bridge...

Plus look at the reviews and it's well priced as well. I got mine about 2 month ago and paid like $130 for the same set :-(

I just ordered those snipers but they are 1.5v 1600 8GB Cas9. I don't think they overclock very well, but hey, they are so cheap for 8GB and made for SB. Run them at stock settings and they will be stable as.

Sure they will, @ 1.5v, you have room enough to power up and overclock!

You'll like em!
I wish they made some triple channel Snipers, for my rig!
