Do you own stock in AMD or something? It must be that.
I don't like having something shoved down my throat, thankyou very much!

Anyways, I am more than happy with my Sandy Bridge biggrin.gif

Name calling, again? Don't you have to get ready for school tomorrow? You are starting the 3rd grade, right?

Nahhh, I'm not one sided at all. Intel is just not a product I choose to buy.

Obakemono, you can grow up anytime you know? I'm a long time AMD supporter and I own stock in AMD. However, I couldn't wait forever for BD. Not many of us wanted to continue waiting.

So please do a favor for yourself, stop acting 12.

OK dad.

You guys need to lighten up!! I'm entitled to my opinion, just like you are. Calling me names, and telling me to act my age and how to act? Who are the ones that need to grow up now?

Edit: This is what you get for sticking by your guns, standing firm and not going with the crowd. I did not know that technology peer pressure was so rampantly toxic.

So, if I like Whirlpool white goods, I'm a whirlpool fanboy. Or All I buy is sharp TVs. Ooo, F A N B O Y alert!!! Or if all my cars are made by Mitsubishi!! OMG!! What a fanboy! That is how you sound to me. And it is STUPID.

AMD AND Intel Fans alike if they are reasonable must be hoping the Bulldozer does well. I've been using my Deneb and Radeon for a while but I'm not a fanboy either way and I'll probably be switching to SB if Bulldozer sucks. But AMD needs to be successful for the good of the business as a whole, which is good for us enthusiasts(intel/amd fans alike). Otherwise Intel will go back to being lazy and trotting out underperforming overpriced chips again. IF you can't see that you are way too ignorant, I'm sorry.

Right now its not looking good for AMD. The Thuban was a disappointment. AMD is showing no faith in Bulldozer by refusing to set a release date and sticking with it so I don't have much faith in it particularly either.

Most gamers will likely get by with a BD x4 or x6

Hmmm I r interested now thinking.gif....

I don't understand all these comments regarding "for amds sake", who cares for a big companies sake?

They don't care as long as your buying their products and as soon as they can't do that for a reasonable price and giving good value for money, then people will turn to Intel and buy their stuff instead.

And if you guys are worried about AMD going bust, even if that did happen, intel wouldn't become a monopoly company and own the CPU Market, they wouldn't be allowed to do that...just like sky isn't allowed to completely own all tv channels etc. They just happen to be the bigger company and can spend more money, as is the intel/AMD situ.

I have faith it'll be good. I don't know if it will totally wipe the floor with sandybridge or ivybridge, but should still be a very competent chip. Hopefully it's also coming out at a good price point and will provide some kickarse bang for the buck.

I'd hope the quad core parts would be able to compete with the 2500k and the 2600k, not just the six core or eight core parts. If it could reach parity or even better then I'd buy a quad core part for my HTPC.
