I have an integrated GPU? I was not even aware of that.

Shouldn't I see it in Device Manager in Display adapters? Because its not there.

that's not right
you should be able to use opengl
I can see why you don't like DX, it sucked back then
also have you tried the dx10 patch
a glide emulator might work too

You do, and it's quite powerful. It would easily run Unreal at a couple hundred FPS without your 560.

Well, it seems to be off in the BIOS (you can't turn it off completely, but its on "stay off if there is another card detected". Device manager only lists my 560.

It was a good guess but I doubt that this is the problem.

actually, he can only use the sandy bridge integrated graphics in Z or H based mobo's etc. Otherwise the hd3000 is gated.

OK. Still, I don't think that's what is causing the problem. I hadn't even heard of a game running "faster" in terms of speed.

Have you tried re installing the Nvidia drivers?

EDIT: Aaahhh software mode....

I think you might just have to end up living with running the game in hardware mode.

Did unreal support glide? I've had some pretty good success running old games in glide mode, using a glide wrapper.
