of those 3 i would probably pick the dell coz it'd probably outlast the rest. well.. anything can break. but dell usually has better warranty than other manufacturers.
I started with 21.5'' because anything bigger wont fit on my desk. 3 21.5'' monitors are gonna be pushing it.

I hear alot about this dell warranty. How many years do I have? 3?

Yea, I was sitting here reading thru monitor posts and decided to see what monitor to get, Asus or LG. Then I said w/e. i'll take a quick look on CL and found this for 170$. Lowballed him to 160$. He gave me the invoice of the package he baught for warranty purposes. I opened the box so I doubt anything is gonna go wrong with this monitor anytime soon.

Not sure how long your warranty is (or if you even have one), but the great deal about dell warranty is the fact that it's actually easy to use and does things fast most of the time. Unlike some other companies that refuse warranty requests, take 2 months to complete them, just resend you your old item, send you a faulty item back, etc.

I personally went with 3 Dell UltraSharp U2311H's. I picked them up for $219 @ Dell.ca.

You'll often find them for that price during their xxHour Sales or Electrionics sales. I've heard the Dell's have a better build quality compared to your LG consideration.

The Dell U2311H has 1xDVI, 1xVGA and 1 DisplayPort. I highly advise considering it if only for the reason that having at least one display with a native DisplayPort connector will eliminate possible issues with active or passive adapters. The adapters i've mentioned can cost upwards to $100, but Sapphire has created one that is about $30 USD. I've also heard mixed levels of success.

So, back to the U2311H. It has a static contrast ratio of 1000:1 (which is what all LCD/LED monitors have) and dynamic (while unimportant) is 10,000:1. One of reasons I went with this display was also because of the included height-adjustable stand which allows for swivel, tilt and pivot. It also doubles as a method for cable management. Of course, all of this doesn't matter if you were going with wallmount stands or a triple monitor deskstand from XFX or Chief or Ergotech. The monitor also has a 4 port USB 2.0 hub built in.

Dell provides 3 year Limited Warranty with their UltraSharp products.

Anyways, I hope this helps you in your decision, and good luck with your Eyefinity setup!

Edit: Sorry, I didn't notice you had a Dell U2211H. Well, I've often seen them on sale for $179. Although if I had to choose between LG and Asus, i'd choose LG. AFAIK it's the same panel as the one in your Dell.

yes it truely is. even in Windows GUI like folder colors and stuff, the color looks more real and way more vibrant coming from an older Acer TN.

AND I LOVE THE ROTATE FEATURE. TEXT reading is soo easier now...don't have to scroll down too much.

still i wish i could've gotten it or the 23" at cheaper price.

I'm planning on getting the 27" later when i have money to blow
