6950 2gb crossfire 10-12c temp difference

Thread Starter
I just installed 2nd card for crossfire and noticed a 3-5c difference from gpu1 to gpu 2 at idle, but 10-12c difference at load. Load temp after 5 minutes if crysis @2048*1536 very high settings gave me gpu1 72c and gpu2 85c. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Yeah that's completely normal.

GPU1 is pushing hot air on GPU2.

EDIT - As for being concerned, you may want to add a fan or two on the side of your case if you can fit on. Something to pull some heat off your cards.

That or put them under water.

I already have a 230mm fan on the side, I have a video card shroud w/120mm fan. I would hate think what the temps would be without the shroud....
