This is with my display on dim, running gingerbread-ns4g-deck [1.3b][2.3.5 beta], and [KERNEL][ACS]*Matr1x* with BLN and voodoo v5.5.

From what I've read on xda people were getting great battery life with this setup. Does anyone else have a nexus s, what kind of battery life are you getting.. what rom/kernel.

I've got an HTC Desire but I'm running a replica of the Nexus S ROM so no HTC Sense.

Go Setting > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi Settings.

Hit the menu button on your phone and click 'Advanced'.

Change Wi-Fi Sleep to Never.

I get about 8 hours on the first day I got it and display was using the most of it. I also rooted and put a 'james bond' kernel with a uv for better battery life so I wouldn't know how it was without it.

I have a HD2 using a stock Nexus One rom (2.3.5) and I'm using Juice Defender Ultimate and it has improved my battery life by a good amount. My phone lasts about a whole day with semi heavy usage. Also SetCPU and by down-clocking my phone when not in use helps as well.

That screen shot doesn't tell the whole story
How long is your display on for during this 14 hours?
If it's in the 3 hours range you can't really complain

Matrix kernel didnt get me the best results. im on ice&fire 1.3 and been getting 18hrs+ heavy usage. cm7 based roms have the best battery life in my experience and more customization. charge ur phone, wipe battery stats and then flash iceandfire or just cm7
