Wires can be twisted back together, or even soldered together if it needs to be a really strong connection. If you have any experience in electrical work, they would probably be fixed in under ten minutes for under $5. So long as the actual speaker still works, they can be repaired.

If you want bass, Sony XB-700s, dont get the dr.dre ones if you want bass, they're crap. XB-700s have the best range ive ever seen, 3-28000 hz. Better than any sennheisers ive seen. Also, its a shorter, flat cable. So it doesnt tangle, and it doesnt get stuck under things. Base price of 130$, on amazon for about 80$ i believe. Best headphones ive ever seen.

I was told that for under $50 to get JVC HARX700. Found them on Amazon for $39 with shipping. They just got them in stock. I have not heard them yet but I have been told that they are spectacular for the price.

you can most likely get a replacement cable for cheap. i got a replacement cable for my HD555 for $10. It was really easy to replace. (really 4 pins to disconnect from old cable and attach new cable)

ye no luck with that here. I took them apart the cables are directly soldered to the board in the headset. Where it broke it pulled off the cord from the adjustable volume/mic control. And its the same thing in there the tiny cables are soldered right to the board.

The easiest thing to do is learn how to rewire the headset. Its really easy actually. Just for starters on wires, try a Mogami w2893. All you gotta do is open the headphones, desolder the old wires, take out old wires, put new wires in, solder them to the drivers and terminate them to a plug. If you need more specific help just message me.

The PC 350s that came with the Xense are slightly better than the normal PC 350s AFAIK. Probably just a little bit.

The only headset I've tried is the Ultrasone Pro 550. Perfect in every way IMO. But $150 seems to be too much for you. It'd be a great choice but for music and games, not just games.

For a microphone, try this. It is at a low price right now, $14.49.

I use it and people hear me just fine in games. I have it next to my keyboard and not next to my mouth and it works fine so no worries.

As with a lot of consumer electronic specs, means nothing if you actually understand what it means and are not wowed by big numbers.

Well Kiwi:

With an answer like yours, I would have to say, isn't it strange that Monster no longer prints technical specifications on the product boxes of the Beats' products?

The company did when the product was first released, and now that information is no longer available.
