If you're passing 65*C its too hot. Those 65nm quads are good up to about 1.65v or so, so its not a voltage issue. It's either your board at fault, or its getting too hot. Those would be my 2 guesses.
Well, in core temp, since Lord Xeb told me to set the degree readings 10° less than would normally show up in the program, under full load, the cores are in the 40°c - 50°c range.

EDIT: So I ran prime95 for about 8 hours and at the end of that time, the cores got to the low 70's

Yeah that's too hot. You shouldn't be passing 65*C with that chip under overclocking conditions. Its technically fine up to 72*C (might've been 73), but when you overclock, it needs to stay cooler.

Do you think I really should lower it though? Because it's not like I'm ever going to have my cpu at 100% load for 8 consecutive hours.
