Just calculated the total and it seems that I can go upto an i3 2120... Will that be a worthy upgrade??

if you dont really need onboard gfx or SSD cache then get this

That's a h67 so no OC ing.. That's bad!!! I'm actually liking the wd drive. And don't you think gtx 550ti is cutting a little short?

so heres my config from ur listed sites msy
1) cpu--core i5 2300 2.8ghz 159$ (quad i5 @ 2.8ghz turo upto 3.2ghz)
2)mobo gigabyte gap67a ud3p 139$ no need for z68(as u wont use onboard gfx and ssd caching)
3)same ram ripjaws x 36$
4)same hdd 37$ (see if samsung spinpoint f3 500gb is available for same price)
5)case--cooler master elite 430 57$ (better than the case u selected in terms of airflow)
6)same dvd writer 24$
7)same gfx card 161$
8) same psu 99$

total 712$....
i know 12$ above ur budget but definitely worth every penny...it has a quad i5....
hope u like it.....

mobo and cpu prices taken from msy except for case....
