Difference between LED TV and Plama TV - Page 5

I love my plasmas. Much more realistic and natural picture than LED/LCD. Also, if you're into the 3d gimmick, plasmas do that better.

So you think Plasma will give me better experience for passive 3dtv, thank LED?

people still have IR issues with 2010 models when console gaming. Less so with the 2011 models but really. Read up about it on AVSforum.

Just some toughts, for watching TV: Any Plasma screen will handle lower resolutions better, than a LCD. LCD's tend to get blocky, blurry, and artifacted, if the input resolution is lower than HD, wich is the case in most TV broadcasts. Even my average G20 model gives awesome picture with low-res divx content too, where any LCD would display highly artifacted picture. I can even enjoy 600x300 res, fitted to fullscreen. Try that on an LCD monitor or tv

Also for Average Joe customer, IR in plasmas is an issue. Image retention is not the same as burn-in.
Do you own a plasma or have you ever own one?

I do'nt own a plasma personally but i know of a few close mates that did'nt listen to my advice and got a plasma for xbox360 gaming, i can tell you there plasma screens are a mess, never in a million years would i get a plasma if it involved gaming on it!

My lcd's i can forget to turn the pc and tv off, when i come home hours later i still have a perfect picture with no ir/burn in.

I like those comments, where a friends sisters grandmas parents sons relative had a plasma, and told a fairy tale about it. Thats how those urban legends are born about ghosting for example
