Which card for my new upgrade? - Page 2

Yeah I could probably do with a $100 card but I'm doing this upgrade bigger and better because I haven't updated the system in 4 years.

oh yeah I'd grab the Zotac but on it's own it would cost me another $60 shipping to get here, it's in the USA .

One option is Zotac GeForce GTX 560ti 1GB AMP! at $279.00 , how does that compare to the 570GTX?

What would a GTX 480 cost you down there? Do you have access to EVGA b-stock?

Yes, Bababooey, really.

A GTX 570 is a dream on 1080p. Better tesselation horsepower, more vram, more cuda cores, better efficient memory handling, and can Overclock to 580 stock speeds.

When the 560 ti can't keep up due to heavy loads on textures, dx11 tesselation(future?), MSAA, and so fourth, the 570 will take the crown back all day/everyday.

Everyone knows a 580 is a jip and overpriced - and meant for enthusiasts or people with high res monitor[s], but if you can grab a 570 for around $300, it's worth every single penny.

A 480 is better than a 570. I recently went through the same decision and went 480:

http://www.overclock.net/graphics-ca...-vs-570-a.html

However that price is pretty high though. A 480 @ 835 mhz barely out-performs a stock gtx 580 ( http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/1081...ock-580-a.html ). 835 is a very reasonable overclock on them. A lot of 480's hit much higher. Mine for instance does 850 on stock volts. EVGA b-stock has 480's for $220. Do they ship to your country at reasonable prices?

Probably not, one guy on eBay had a 480GTX new but wouldn't go down to $200 which is all I can pay because it costs me $50+ to get here.

Should I just grab a 560ti or a 570 GTX? There is about a $120 difference here.

Hmm, I hate to complicate things but why not a 470 ?

LOL, I actually bought 5, selling 2 because it's a waste

I should mention I picked up a brand new 275GTX cheap for this build but I want to go something bigger since I'm going all out now.
