Metal Man has a plan.

Hex Removal by the Druid. The Holerus is not roundy round and it still bites the air. It must be defanged. Enrounded. Largened.

I exerted some gnawledge onto it.

Corsair! Y U No Round?!

Finally, a round hole, for the Fill Port. 1" on center in the available space in front of the ridges.

I sure hope that's what CjGemini wanted...

Bottom panel got molested as well. Nice neat rectangular opening. I modded the slide in filter as well. Ready for a floor panel with a rad cutout. That comes later.

I think that's it for the chopping. I'll look over my work order and see if I am caught up yet.

It's designed for your case

It better fit...or it's not going on there at all. There's always Koolance. Plan B: Make Trim Pieces to Hide the Plastic Sides of the Koolance Shroud. Have faith my friend...I'm going to keep on moddding until you are happy with the result.

The EL Film for back lighting the the cover panel has arrived and I did some tests. Video uploading.

I took a scrap of transparent blue acrylic and spray painted the paper and made a quick bit of lettering with the razor. I put blue masking tape over the back side to simulate a more opaque plastic. And then I set up the EL film and tried out some things.

1.5" x 12" EL Panel "White" looks pink when off.

Camera is making it look more blue than it does to the eye.

It is seriously bright.

My crappy test sign...silver spray over the protective paper, blue tape on the back. Quick and Dirty. Sign panel is spaced 1/2" away from the EL Panel with 1/2" acrylic for a test of light distribution.

Without the back light my crappy sign looks a lot crappier.

I think a single EL Panel spaced 1/2" away will work. Not sure whether to use acrylic or make a little metal box. More tests after the red plastic arrives on the 15th.
