Headphones aren't working properly

Thread Starter
Yesterday, I received a free headset from my friend. It is the Turtle Beach PX21. I know it is nothing great, but it was free because the left ear cup broke off. I fixed it and went to go listen to some music to test it out. It creates an echo when playing soft songs and doesn't seem to register any lows. Does anyone know what the problem is?
