Evga GeForce 210 overclocking help?

Thread Starter
I just built my first system :
Diablotek Elite case with 450 watt ps
Zotac Geforce 6100 value Mobo
Amd Athlon II X4 630 2.8ghz Quad-core processor
Zalman CPU Cooler
Seagate 1tb SATA HD 7200 rpm
Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3
LG DVD Burner 48x
Evga Geforce 210 1gb ddr3 Video Card
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Cost $239.00 smile.gif

I know that my video card isnt that good and was wanting to overclock using Evga Precision the free software that came with the card. I dont have a clue about over clocking and need some pointers and was wondering if anyone knows any safe settings i can use to make the preformace a little better for gaming. If anyone has any suggestions other then getting another card in which i will do in a few weeks. Also what card would be best for my system for around $150. Thank you!!!!

Im planning on it but have to save some cash for a couple more weeks and plan on spending around $150 to $200 for a new card.

you said you have precision?

will it let you adjust the core or mem clocks at all?

just start upping it in small increments of like 10-15mhz.

after each time, test it with OCCT with error checking enabled for around 5-10 mins.
if you dont get any errors, go up a little more.

i dont know anything about OCing that card, so i cant tell you a safe maximum or anything like that.

remember to watch your temps as well.

This.

Also, get rid of your PSU before it destroys your system. Diabloteks are like...the worst of the worst.
