Trying to decide on dell u2311 vs u2412

Thread Starter
I was pretty set on the 2311, but after doing a bit more research and now reading about the 2412, I'm not sure which one to go with.

It seems that a lot of these panels have QC issues, with reports of backlight bleed and glowing from the corners. I don't care if it glows at 45 degrees, but it's an issue if it happens when I'm looking directly at the monitor.

It's hard to make a decision with such little info out about the 2412. 10e's reports look promising, but some others have reported glow issues.

Has anyone been able to compare the 2 in person, or has read anything that would point towards one being better? I'd prefer a not too heavy AG coating, but I'm guessing they're probably pretty similar in that aspect?

Anyway, any thoughts on which way to go would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I've read all those threads, none compare the 2 I'm talking about in any detail. I've read reviews and such about each, but not direct comparisons

This. The U2412m is quite a bit more expensive than the U2311h, but you get a superior display. The price/performance ratio is better on the u2311h though, IMO

yes, u2311h have half price but the U2412m is a good option ( 23" is little too small for many users, and 27" is too big ).
