Office migration issues

Thread Starter
I just put a new drive in my computer, which is now my OS drive. I am trying to install office 2007 on my computer, but I bought it through digitalriver, and they only allow for 30 days after purchase to download.

Since that approach is all shot to hell, and I don't have (or can't find) the disc which I may have made for it, I am trying to get it to work off my old drive. The old drive which has office installed on it is still i my computer, and intact. How would I make office work using this old installation?

As long as you have a legitimate product key just download a copy of the disk from their website or borrow one from someone else. Then install it with your key. I'm pretty sure you can use the free trial download from microsoft's website and just activate it with your key. That's what I did on my netbook because it doesn't have a cd drive.
