When your rma'd ram comes back, sell them.

Ram is pretty cheap nowadays.
Yea I agree with buying new ram before sending my current one out. So its not worth keeping the replacement for a total of 16GB?

Some times it fails if the other settings are too low as well.

You may have to fiddle with it.
I don't think I should fiddle around with the timings when it was suppose to work with its rated specs.

you might want to fiddle =P and i thought you had to pay like tons for rma in shipping. it might not be that you have to pay to get it back but it costs a lot of money to send it there. if fiddling doesnt work get new ram. then rma only if you want to spend more. for a problem they caused in the first place. not trying to be mean srry if it sounds that way =P

RMA time

Yeah I would definitely RMA them. Shipping will be fairly cheap because you can easily ship RAM in a padded envelope.
