You don't have the time to click a few buttons but you have the time to drive all the way to Best Buy, haggle with their crappy employees, and drive back?

You know you can get 1 day shipping on most websites and it's still cheaper than best buy....that's how much of a ripoff it is

Yes and one day shipping usually means it ships from their warehouse in one day, not how long it takes to get to his house... hence why i would rather put up with people that don't know a thing or two about Pc's and pay more then I'm supposed to.

I think you should just go for the gtx 560, then if he wants more power, few months down the track he can just chuck in another one and then gtx 560 sli will be faster then a gtx 580.

Also if you just got the gtx 560, the 600 series are coming out soon so he could just get a 600 series later, and it will probably OWN the gtx 580, and be cheaper. (Id assume, that a 660 with stock speeds would match a gtx 570, and overclocked would match a gtx 580) OR, when the 600 series come out the 500 series will drop dramatically in price so that extra gtx 560 ti would be even cheaper.

Also gtx 560 ti is a good card, I was stoked with mine. I couldnt max out anti aliasing or anything but I could play crysis and warhead with everything turned right up, apart from AA and stuff.

Thanks in advance.
You will waste so much money buying from Best Buy you could have a GTX580

I was going to get him 560 ti Sli to begin with and if he wanted more power he could get a GTX 580 or GTX 580 SLi, but I'm just pretty sure a 560 ti SLi or not, will run MW3 or BF3...

Not to mention if some of the parts are defective he can switch them out at the store instead of waiting another week for an RMA to happen....

On another note, I have heard a lot of good things about the 560Ti. Just make sure the MOBO is sli compatible and you should be set.
