Hello all!

So all my current components are on eBay and im ready for my new build.

I have already ordered a fractal design arc mini and a lamptron hummer 5 port baybus because.. well I have wanted them for as long as I can remember.

My current plan is to buy:

Intel i5 2500k
2x4GB Gskill Sniper (1600MHz, cL9 @ 1.25v)
Corsair Force GT 60GB SSD
ASUS Maximus IV Z68 Motherboard
GTX 560Ti

Now to me.. the black, red and white colour scheme on the inside is going to look B.E.A.Utiful but im not sure I need that top range m-ATX board and the other stuff that all looks so good...

Would you guys get worse components and better Watercooling (Oh yeah im gona watercool and OC like a Who*e )

Personal question but I just want to hear your views

Does your case have a window? If it does and you have the money then go for the looks! If it doesn't I wouldn't spend the money

you mention mATX, so that means you are interested in the MIVE gene? Here, it's not really all that expensive and about the same price as the z68 pro. The evo and deluxe cost more. I think it's a great board for the price and it's not that much more to pay for a nice color combo. Now the standard MIVE is a lot of money for pretty colors, if you don't need it's features.

well... yeah no window, but I have many a friend I would love to make jellous of my asthetics. Im not going to lie im not made of monies but this gear can be eBay'd for good price later down the line and will let me OC like a god (I hope) I think total savings by skimping out would be £80 - £100. I think ill just have to think for a very long time about this.

I'm considering one myself. I bought the MIVE the other day and sent it back. It was open box and was giving me issues. Despite saving $100 on it, it's still expensive and didn't work as I would have liked. Just yesterday I thought my P8p67 was dead and was really tempted to buy the gene, but my pro started working today. I'm still debating it though, maybe I pull the trigger soon.
