Thread Starter
why have i not heard much about these mice

in terms of acceleration i thought the older g9 didnt have any?

also sidewinder mice also dont seem to be getting much hate but is there any testing showing any problems with the 6010 sensor they use?

side note does anyone know if logitech still would have normal g9s ebay ones are like 140 bucks...

the intelli mice what dpi are these using? i read i think there was some buffer you could do to double the dpi or something

I had a G9 for a bit, didn't notice any positive acceleration. Not very high perfect control speed though.

Don't know much about any of the Sidewinders.

All version of the Intellimouse pre-4.0 are 400-450 DPI. No positive acceleration, but perfect control ends at 1.55 m/s when ran at 1000hz.
Meh

I've never heard about accel issues with adns-6090 but i can't confirm that it doesn't have any.

As you can see this sensor is very picky about mouse pads, also it jitters a little on cloth ones (I'm sure about qck). I think that hard pad would be the best option as for any other laser sensor.
Prediction is slight/none.
Lod ~2CDs on Qck, and you can't really make it lower with additional feet or tape-fix because it drastically decreases perfect control speed.
ps. i used g5 with this sensor , not sidewinder.
