My Eclipse II didn't last 6 months before the space bar started giving me trouble. Now the little plastic bits that hold the metal bar have completely broken off. It's a nice looking board and I like the backlit, but it's one of those purchases I really regret. I'm replacing it with a Filco - just waiting on it to ship.

it's funny b/c people will buy 5 cheap keyboards in a span of 2 years and not think about it and then gawk at the prices of a decent quality keyboard....

Yep, I also bought a cyborg in January and the m, g, and right ctrl are sticking. I just bought a steelseries a couple of weeks age that is great. If you don't want mechanical though, I actually like some of Razers cheaper keyboards, the Lycrosa is a good one I think.

I've never had a problem with my Saitek II spacebar in four years. But I've had just as annoying issues with keys not registering properly. And that happened within 2-3 months of purchase.

Saitek was nice enough to not offer any sort of rma process or help.

I had a problem with my Cyborg after about a year with the down arrow not working. Currently have a Sidewinder x4 and it is FAR superior to that Cyborg. However, I have also owned an Eclipse and had no issues with it whatsoever. In fact, I think my ex-roommate still has it to this day, which would make it about 4 years old.
