GTX 570 Frame rates???

Thread Starter
Hi I'm new here. I want to know, whether my pc runs game as it should or is there something wrong??

Here is some frame rates:

Metro 2033: 40 - 60 fps (advanced physx aswell on dx 11)
Shift 2: 40 - 70, BUT sometimes (certain tracks) 30 - 40 fps
Bulletstorm: 62 fps
Black Ops: 60 - 90 fps
Bad company 2: average 65 fps 70 - 100 fps in some areas (GPU usage not alway 99% and also running progs in background)
Dirt 2: 100+ fps
Dirt 3: 65 - 100 fps
Crysis 1: 28 - 40 fps No lags at all (Gpu usage spikes between 80 and 90%)
Crysis Warhead: 40 - 55 fps
Crysis 2 dx9: 60 - 80 fps
Crysis 2 Dx11 + High res textures: 40 - 50 fps
STALKER Call of Pripyat: 70 - 80 fps with lags when running.

Is that normal or do I have a problem with my card. I know some games might cause a bottleneck with my cpu.

Thanks

One guy told me my gpu is broken or something coz he gets 40 frames with 9600gt max in crysis 2 and I don't get much much more than his pc. So he told me my card might be defective. So i was wondering...

That doesn't really count for anything.
Do you trust this persons knowledge? What settings is he comparing yours to? For all you know he might be running settings as low as possible.
Maybe he has way too much pride and embellishes the truth some what. Lots of them out there.

You're barely getting less frames then I am in Crysis 2 DX11 in Ultra settings.
It is mostly GPU intensive, so those frames correlate well between our cards I believe.

EDIT: Oh, and just noticed. If he's on a 9600GT, then he can only run Crysis 2 in DX9 mode. Where yours hit over 80 as you stated. He isn't capable of max settings with his card.

You are so right. I am paranoid when it comes to my pc, coz if something blows...I don't have money to repair it, I am a student. And I play crysis dx 11 with High resolutions textures on and everything on ultra...so literally max out the game and I get 40 - 50 fps...and thats in action scenes.

Then let out a sigh of relief, because your card is peachy-perfect!

Comparing DX9 frames-per-second to DX11 is like... Well... I don't have a witty anecdote right now. I'll get back to you on that.
But it's silly! Apples and oranges! Cats and dogs! All that opposite jazz.

what resolution are you playing at? I'm almost positive that guy with the 9600gt barely has clue as to what hes talking about.

Just done a quick test. Crysis 2 dx11 frames like in first post, but gpu usage 70 - 88 % and cpu usage is 60%. So is that normal? Shouldn't gpu usage be 99%?
