Well, we still aren't anywhere close to completely "depeleting" our home planet, and in the scope of the universe, Earth is about the size of a sub-atomic particle on a tiny grain of sand on the largest beach in the world. Not to mention the Universe is ever-expanding, so I think we'll be ok.

A singularity is a black hole... you don't use anti-matter + matter to create black holes.

The technology singularity approaches... knowledge is growing at an exponential rate. We might see it in our lifetime. The ETA of the next stage in humans is around 2050...

anyways Michio Kaku already discussed about warp speed travel and mentioned it was possible with todays technology just not very stable for use. it would need about 40+years of testing and efficiency building to make sure things work like they do in Science Fiction....Human Determination and Imagination they work very well together..
Kaku is a sensationalist crackpot. Warp speed travel is not possible with our current level of technology. I'd like to see his proposal of how it could be done.

And this is coming from a world renowned Physicist such as yourself? I suppose you know more than him as well. Any recent papers you've published that I can read?
